About The Position

• Supervise the generator's major overhaul and or repair activities.


• Supervise the testing and commissioning activities of the Generators.


• Propose the modifications required for the safe and reliable operation of the generators.


• Provide SOW and a Bill of materials required to execute the modification. Upon COMPANY approval, the Specialist shall supervise the execution of modifications.


• Study the power system operation and control system of generators and provide the modification required in the control system.


• Execute the modifications required in the control system upon COMPANY approval test the modification for successful implementation and provide a report on the modifications executed.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.


• Minimum 10 Years of experience in the Installation, overhaul, repair, tuning, troubleshooting, repair, modification, configuration/setting change, testing, commissioning, and startup of Steam & Critical Power Generators


• Must have knowledge of GE turbine Generators and MUSTANG/CATERPILLAR Critical Power Generators


• Good interpersonal skills and exposure/experience to Offshore platforms.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Willing to work on short-term (2 weeks) - medium-term (6 months) commissioning/services
