Job Details



  • Lead and manage a team of technical officers in the design, implementation, and evaluation of community health programs.

  • Collaborate with project officers, state and local government officials, field workers, community members and all stakeholders to identify health challenges and develop effective solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to team members.

  • Ensure that all programs are designed and implemented in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.

  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in community health programming, including emerging trends, tools, and technologies.

  • Participate in the development of program budgets and resource planning to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.

  • Ensure the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data to inform program decision-making and evaluation.

  • Ensure that programs are delivered with a strong focus on quality and sustainability.

  • Supervise daily activities of all office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations and achieve goals.

  • Plan, organize, and manage program activities recordkeeping, and inventory control.


POSITION REQUIREMENT



  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • At least 10 years of experience in community health program design, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Experience in team leadership, management, and mentorship.

  • Demonstrated expertise in community health programming, including knowledge of best practices, tools, and technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret program data to inform decision-making.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including program managers, health practitioners, and community members.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of program procedures, equipment, and software applications.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in the use of Dropbox and Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

  • Strong attention to detail, highly motivated and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
