The successful candidate will be responsible for producing digital assets, managing design projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual content. This role demands a strong design aesthetic, technical proficiency in design software, and the ability to lead and inspire a creative team.
Job Responsibilities:
- As the Art Director/Graphics Designer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop innovative and compelling design concepts.
- Creating visually striking and effective designs for various digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Overseeing the entire design process, from concept development to final execution.
- Juggling and prioritizing multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring that all deadlines are met with precision.
- Ensuring that all design work aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Mentoring and providing creative direction to junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Staying abreast of the latest industry trends, design tools, and best practices to infuse innovation into your work.
- Skillfully presenting design concepts to clients and stakeholders, adapting to feedback as necessary to ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and impactful design across all marketing channels.
- Contributing to the development and refinement of design processes and workflows.
Key Attributes / Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:
- A graduate of any field from a reputable higher institution.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in the design industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as familiarity with digital design tools and trends.
- Must possess the following qualities: Adaptability, communication skills, time management, problem-solving, team player, and marketing insight.
Age Range: 23 – 28 years.
Salary: N150,000 – N180,000 (negotiable)
