Job Description

• Ensure that all new credit applications are dealt with in a timely manner


• Monitor existing loans and ensure compliance


• Be responsible for carrying out financial analysis of both new and existing credit applications and to ensure that adequate financial information on the borrowers is maintained


• Develop the lending skills of the Business Development team


• Meet loan targets as agreed with the Head of Business Development


• Meet with prospective clients and to be responsible for the finalization of credit proposals, with a recommendation for approval or decline


• Ensure that loan repayments are received when due


• Seek and originate new lending business


• Report any significant discrepancy on a loan


• Prepare Management reports


• Provide support to peers and others within Berkshire in uplifting its values and policies
