Job Description

• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings by hand, by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications and other software


• Assist in the compiling needed blueprints, specifications, and present drawings/plans for approval for projects


• Work closely with construction managers and workers to ensure the project is completed on time and according to the specified design


• Viewing building sites, proposed locations and liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects


• Working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers, building service engineers, construction managers, interior designers etc. for building projects


• Assist with taking the “brief” to identify clients’ needs, develop ideas keeping in mind clients' requirements/specifications and put together feasibility reports, design proposals


• Visiting building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans


• Coordinate details of architectural projects and prepare construction report


• Assisting with conceptual design, construction documents, material research, code analysis and preliminary specifications


• Presentational development of proposals, designs, sketches and technical documentation for Clients


• Carry out any other assigned task
