We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Sales Manager who has a proven track record in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing our team of dedicated Sales Representatives. This role requires a deep understanding of ecommerce sales strategies, order processing, and customer engagement, with a specific focus on payment on delivery transactions and experience with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of Ecommerce Sales Representatives.
- Customer Engagement: Oversee the team in engaging with customers who choose the payment on delivery method, employing persuasive communication techniques to encourage purchases.
- Order Coordination: Efficiently coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and delivery agents across various Nigerian states to guarantee timely and precise order fulfillment.
- Follow-Up and Verification: Conduct thorough follow-up calls and communication to verify successful delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performance Appraisal: Evaluate and appraise the performance of the sales team, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
Requirements:
- Must have a personal laptop to work from home with.
- Currently residing in Lagos.
- Proven experience in managing a sales team in an ecommerce or retail setting, with a focus on payment on delivery transactions and experience with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, payment methods, and order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Knowledge of Nigerian states and logistics infrastructure is a plus.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and effectively appraising team performance.
