Job Summary

As a Freight Forwarder with shipping and clearing experience, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of goods and materials on behalf of clients. Your role includes overseeing the shipping and clearing process, ensuring compliance with Customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customs Clearance and Documentation:

• Oversee customs clearance processes, ensuring adherence to applicable customs laws and regulations.


• Prepare, process, and organize customs documentation, including import/export declarations and permits.

NEPZA Knowledge and Liaison:

• Comprehensive understanding of NEPZA letter processing procedures.


• Serve as a liaison with customs authorities at the Lekki Free Zone, ensuring smooth operations.

Shipment Handling:

• Supervise the loading and offloading of shipments.


• Manage fleet and coordinate with transporters to optimize consignment transportation.

Import and Export Expertise:

• Apply in-depth knowledge of import and export shipment processing within the Lekki Free Zone.


• Facilitate accurate and efficient processing of import and export documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.


• Proven experience in customs clearing, documentation, and handling import/export processes, preferably within the Lekki Free Zone.


• Experience in managing fleet and coordinating with transporters is highly desirable


• Minimum of three years proven experience in shipping, clearing, and freight forwarding roles.


• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and customs procedures.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
