The Management Accountant will assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in making critical financial decisions and optimize financial planning. you will be responsible for preparing financial reports and develop and implement strategies to reduce businesses’ operational costs. you will provide administrative support to the CFO and will work with the finance team to help maintain and smoothly run the accounts department.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and interpreting information to evaluate the efficiency of financial procedures.


• Preparation of periodic budgets and variance analysis.


• Preparing financial reports and budgets and forecasting income and expenditure.


• Analyzing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning.


• Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information.


• Preparation of periodic accounting reports as well as end-of-year management accounts.


• Input and posting into the computerised accounting systems.


• Maintaining all records of assets and schedules.


• Communicate with all departments to ensure invoices are approved and signed off.


• Using computerised accounting systems.


• Assisting with any other ad hoc duties as required by the CFO.

Requirements

• BSC or HND in Accounting or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Management Accountant.


• ACA or ACCA certification


• Strong mathematical and analytical attitude.


• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.


• Organisation and attention to detail.


• Superb leadership and problem-solving skills.
