JOB OBJECTIVE:

• To effectively prepare any maintenance activities that may or may not requires materials or resources to be ordered, for Corrective Maintenance work and in advance of any


• Preventive Maintenance Work Order being issued, such that the Scheduler can immediately bring the Work Order into the schedule without any intervention.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and organize work in conjunction with the Supervisor making sure the required arrangements to carry out assigned work in an efficient and effective manner are put


• in place to ensure that equipment down-time is minimized as much as possible


• Determines the scope of activity required to return the equipment back into service


• Packages the work with the tasks, disciplines, materials and services to effectively complete the work.


• Generate 100 % work order for each job request for execution to respective contractor


• Maintains an overview of the date constraints continually to ensure work is scheduled when there are resources and access available


• Input and updates equipment history records in the PACER Maintenance Management


• System for accurate reliability data


• Adhere strictly to the requirements of the Permit-to-Work system in the execution of maintenance work and ensure good housekeeping is maintained at all times to achieve expected high safety standard.


• Carry out all necessary safety critical functions as identified, assigned and defined in the bowties to ensure that the effectiveness of the control barriers and recovery measures are maintained.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Higher National Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics)

Experience

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
