Position Summary

• The assistant production manager/Quality control and assurance officer of Matrix Design and works will work closely with the production manager to manage and oversee day-to-day activities on the production floor.


• Production quality control and assurance is another core responsibility of the (APM/QA-QC).

Production Management Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager in day- to-day coordination and management of production activities.


• Assessing project and resource requirements


• Overseeing production processes


• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment


• Supervising and managing the activities of production team.


• Support the production manager in organizing relevant training sessions.


• Tracking and managing materials orders


• Ensuring health and safety standards are strictly adhered to on the production floor.


• Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.


• Manage the flow of resources and goods throughout the company.


• Collaborate with management team on production planning and timeline ensuring.


• Distribution of approved weekly action plans and regular check-ins with production team to ensure appropriate follow-through.


• Actively support the production manager in bridging production gaps.


• Ensure proper documentation of processes and production activities.


• Communicate various deadlines and status updates.


• Familiarize with business trends and recommend improvement plan.


• Drive operations team to maximizing skills and abilities through proper coordination and feedback.


• Proper reporting and site updates are received and documented.


• Ensure that products meet industry standards and specifications.


• Maintain a safe working environment.

Quality Assurance and Control Responsibilities

• Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications and blueprints to understand the product requirements.


• Resolve quality-related issues and adhere to deadlines.


• Design a quality assurance protocol that can be used across all departments.


• Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.


• Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product.


• Monitor customer satisfaction levels.


• Monitor production phase at various levels.


• Prepare documentation of inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.


• Ensure all procured goods meet the specified standards.


• Visit project sites to analyze ongoing operations and ensure they correspond with clients’ expectation.


• Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 3+ years relevant work experience.
