Job Summary

• As a Dredging Mechanical Engineer, you will be a key player in our dredging projects, responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our dredging equipment and machinery. Your expertise should encompass offshore and channel dredging within and outside your locality.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical assessments and maintenance of dredging equipment.


• Collaborate with project managers and the operations team to ensure equipment efficiency.


• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.


• Assist in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and improvements.


• Foster strong working relationships with the operations team and clients.


• Demonstrate cultural and community sensitivity in project involvement.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the dredging industry with a focus on mechanical engineering.


• Previous experience working for international dredging companies in roles such as supervisor, manager, or dredge master.


• Proficiency in offshore and channel dredging operations.


• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.


• Ability to manage cultural and community aspects of projects with sensitivity
