Job Summary
As a Pricing Data and Insight Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our Pricing Data & Insights Team, contributing to the development of effective pricing strategies that align with our business goals and market dynamics in Nigeria. This internship offers hands-on experience in pricing research, giving you valuable insights into the industry and sharpening your analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pricing Team in gathering and analyzing pricing data from various sources to support pricing strategies.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify pricing trends, competitors' pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions that can be used to optimize pricing decisions.
- Support the team in developing pricing models and simulations to evaluate pricing scenarios and potential outcomes.
- Help maintain pricing databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in pricing meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas and suggestions.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented pricing strategies and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pricing research to enhance the team's knowledge and capabilities.
- Handle pricing feedback and enquiries from the customer facing team for a city
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets.
- A good understanding of market research methodologies and pricing concepts is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with statistical analysis software is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a proactive team player.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- A genuine interest in pricing strategies and the ability to think critically.
