Job Summary
The Enterprise Risk Analyst will have overall responsibility for the planning, design, monitoring and implementation of risk management processes and programs.
Responsibilities
- Support and advice on policies, processes and procedures for managing operational risks in all of the Company’s products, activities, processes and systems.
- Identify, assess, map and priorities operational risks inherent in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems before implementation.
- Ensure that there are business continuity and crisis management plans in place to minimize losses in the event of severe business disruptions. Ensure periodic testing of the contingency plans.
- Maintain and enhance the enterprise-wide process, methodology, data collection tools and provide communications and education on its proper use
- Establish self-testing programs to be used for the validation of the operating effectiveness of internal controls that ensure adherence to laws, rules, and regulations
- Periodically review the asset liability management (ALM) policies, liquidity policies and guidelines for the company.
- Measure and manage the interest rate and price risks in the traditional mortgage activities of the Company, with oversight from the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO)
Requirements
- Minimum four (4) years' Enterprise Risk Management experience in the financial services industry.
- First degree in a relevant field
- Professional certification such as CFA, CIS, ACCA, ACA, RIMAN or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized professional body
