Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Professional Architect to join our team. As a Professional Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.



Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts, sketches, and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.


• Prepare and present architectural proposals, including 2D and 3D visualizations, for review and approval.


• Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices into architectural solutions to promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.


• Produce comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.


• Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in architecture, incorporating them into design processes and projects.


• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of design concepts and decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.


• Professional registration with the appropriate architectural regulatory body (e.g., Architects Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON).


• Proven experience working as a Professional Architect, with a strong portfolio of completed architectural projects.


• Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.


• Strong design and visualization skills, with the ability to create compelling 2D and 3D representations of architectural concepts.


• Excellent knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
