Job Responsibilities



  • Formulation of Policies for smooth business operations.

  • Drafting and executing the Annual HR Plan and Budget.

  • Development of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Drafting and review of Job Descriptions.

  • Drafting new KPIs and reviewing exiting ones.

  • Handling Service Level Agreement (SLA) between HR and the various internal departments.

  • Ensuring the Succession Planning Program is kept live and current in all departments.

  • Initiate a PIP with respect to poor performance management.

  • Assist our partner clinic with drawing up and driving the annual wellness program and biannual Food Handler's Test.

  • Together with the Abattoir Manager and Farm Manager, ensure that the abattoir and farm estates authorised Man-load is kept up to date accurately at all times.

  • Conduct HR Training on a quarterly basis.

  • Ensure accurate records are kept in line with company policy.

  • Ensure all internal & external visitors to the HR Office are handled in a professional, welcoming and friendly manner.

  • Draft the annual HR Plan which will form part of the Annual HR Plan.

  • Facilitate end-to-end disciplinary processes in liaison with line management.

  • Where required, offer support to the Legal Advisor with respect to relevant cases.

  • Provide responsive and high-quality support, training and advice to all parts of the business including line managers.

  • Ensure the appropriate management of all employee relations issues including grievances, poor performance and disciplinary action.

  • Monitoring AWOL, absenteeism levels, grievances levels, disciplinary processes, employee wellbeing matters and the development of suitable initiatives and solutions.

  • Ensure strict adherence to the organisational standards, policies and procedures. Initiate corrective action is taken on non-compliance.

  • Collate and submit HR Reports on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Partner with and support line managers with the implementation of end-to-end HR management processes and daily HR support.

  • Any other duties as may assigned by the Managing Director.


Requirements and skills



  • B.Sc. / HND in Business Management, Psychology, Human Resources Management, or related field.

  • 7+ years experience
