Responsibilites
- Working hand in hand with the Marine Manager and vessels crew.
- Monitor maintenance, crew performance, and safety records.
- Conducting internal audits to ensure required standards are met.
- Actively improve management systems and lines of communication.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of marine assets.
- Provide business development support.
- Develop and manage relationships with key players and relevant bodies in the industry and monitor regulatory developments, ensuring compliance.
- Assist to build relationships with various vendors.
- Provide support for the recruitment of seafarers.
- Oversee the implementation of the company’s #QHSSE policies and procedures.
- Prepare periodic reports of activities to management.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
- Practical hands-on experience in the field and a good understanding of relevant industry practices, codes, and standards
- Must have good knowledge of SOLAS, ISM, ISPS, STCW, MLC 2006, ISO, and similar IMO regulations and codes.
- Good understanding of offshore support vessel operations, STS operations, and terminal operations.
- Good knowledge of both international and local maritime legislations, specifically as it relates to NIMASA, Port, Flag State Control, and Classification Society roles in vessel operations.
- The position requires intermediate to advanced knowledge and use of MS office apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
