Job Description

• Prepare cocktails, beers, or other drinks for customers by perfectly mixing ingredients


• Explain all types of drinks on the menu to customers


• Serve drinks to customers in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner


• Maintain a tidy bar area by clearing away used glasses, bottles, napkins, and other debris


• Up-sell to customers by suggesting additional products that may be used in conjunction with their order(s)


• Maintain the cleanliness of coolers, bar equipment, glassware, decanters, and any other service items associated with beverage service


• Restock drinks when running low at the bar and tables


• Give accurate report and record of the daily bar sales to the head bartender


• Give suggestions for improvements within the bar and bar services


• Recognize and handle when customers are becoming intoxicated


• Ensure responsible alcohol service and policies


• Check customer’s identification that it meets legal drinking age


• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and specifications


• Ensure strict compliance to relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies


• Perform any other task assigned.
