Role Objectives
The objectives of this role are to;
- Set a high bar for video marketing deliverables
- Ensure consistency in daily content
- Enhance social media and overall marketing strategies
- Identify and implement improvements in the video editing process
- Produce content for diverse audiences and platforms
- Keep up-to-date with the latest video marketing trends
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit short and long-form videos for the organization’s website and social media accounts
- Take charge of video ideation and creation
- Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos
- Execute projects on both on-site and off-site locations
- Create and curate shareable video content to grow brand influence and awareness
- Utilize audio content to create shareable social media content
- Creation and editing for podcasts, behind-the-scenes activities, talk shows, etc.
- Sound editing and audio recording
Qualification / Skills
- 2-5 years of work experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Solid experience using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut, etc.
- Ability to use audio editing tools like Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.
- Familiar with design creation tools Adobe Photoshop
- Comfortable with social media edition tools like Canva, Capcut, VN
- Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
- Capacity to communicate effectively
- Ability to pick out attention-grabbing shots
- Excellent storytelling skills
- Knowledge of basic editing principles
- Attention to details
Preferred Qualification
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work with multi-track split audio
- Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
- Knowledge of aspect ratios and video encoding formats
- Experience with high-resolution file transfer applications
- Talent for sound design
