Role Description

• Fina Trust Microfinance Bank is seeking Loan Officers for a full-time on-site position in Lagos.


• Successful candidates will be responsible for screening loan applications, assessing client creditworthiness and ensuring repayment terms are met on time.


• They will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving target goals as set out by the Bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/HND Degree


• Experience in Microfinance preferred


• Prior experience working in a financial institution, microfinance bank or credit union is preferred


• Familiarity with loan assessment, processing and risk management practices


• Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and loan tracking software


• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience


• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team, and able to manage a high-volume of ongoing tasks
