Job Description
The MEP Project Engineer is an integral part of the MEP construction team, responsible for ensuring the successful planning, design, and execution of electrical/mechanical projects in our MEP business unit. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication to deliver high-quality and safe construction services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the design and engineering of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets specified standards and requirements.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing project updates and addressing client concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electro-mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an MEP electrical or electro-mechanical project engineer
- Professional engineering license or certification, NSE, COREN etc.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP Electrical systems.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and engineering software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
