Our client is seeking a Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, as well as strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability goals for the car insurance company.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities, and build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, such as car dealerships, fleet managers, and individual consumers.
Negotiate and close complex deals, and manage the sales process from lead generation to customer onboarding.
Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, and develop and implement sales training programs.
Track and analyze sales data and trends, and make recommendations to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is typically required.
8 - 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong strategic and analytical skills to identify growth opportunities, develop effective market entry strategies, and make data-driven decisions.
Proven experience in establishing and nurturing partnerships, both with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
Proficiency in using CRM and sales management software to track performance and manage leads and opportunities.
