Job Brief



  • Our client is seeking a Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to join their team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, as well as strong leadership and mentoring skills.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability goals for the car insurance company.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities, and build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, such as car dealerships, fleet managers, and individual consumers.

  • Negotiate and close complex deals, and manage the sales process from lead generation to customer onboarding.

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, and develop and implement sales training programs.

  • Track and analyze sales data and trends, and make recommendations to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is typically required.

  • 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to identify growth opportunities, develop effective market entry strategies, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proven experience in establishing and nurturing partnerships, both with clients and key industry stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales management software to track performance and manage leads and opportunities.
