Job Summary

Evans Industries Limited is seeking a full-time Warehouse Officer to perform various tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, packing and shipping orders, managing and organizing inventory, and retrieving stock and other materials when requested. This role is located on-site in Lagos.

Job description

• Receiving finished goods from the production department on a daily basis and signing it off.


• Also Issurance of Spare to Engineering Dept.


• Ensure proper arrangement of Finished Goods in the Racks and Warehouse and report the same to the WH Mgr. 4. Responsible for monitoring and supervision of FG going to Distributors and sub distributors.


• Updating / maintenance of various records. 6. Preparation of daily and weekly stock report and reporting same to the warehouse manager.


• Carrying out periodic stock take and stock reconciliation.


• To practice FIFO and LIFO while dispatching FG.


• To ensure smooth functioning of the warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager


• To make sure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times.


• To ensure all timely offloading of containers and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or a related field


• Proven work experience as a warehouse officer or similar role (minimum of 3 years)


• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems


• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management practices


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to handle and operate warehouse equipment
