Job Description
The ideal candidate will:
- Oversee the prompt and timely disbursement of approved customer loan requests within the established turn-around time.
- Oversee timely payment of customer refunds, expense vouchers, staff salaries, and loans.
- Oversee the preparation and prompt submission of monthly deduction schedules of all parastatals and agencies within the time frame established by receiving authorities.
- Ensure that repayment schedules are prepared and uploaded to relevant portals and applications.
- Oversee the preparation and prompt submission of monthly reconciliation reports of various customer agencies.
- Prepare monthly activity reports and submit same for management use within the time period allotted.
- Oversee the booking of loans and creation of loan accounts on the company’s Core Banking Application
- Conduct regular on-the-job staff trainings.
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure speedy resolution of customer complaints within the Approved TAT.
- Identify and mitigate operational risk.
- Design and continuously improve existing and new business processes.
- Collaborate with heads of other units to develop best practices for successful operations
Suitable candidate should have:
- 5 – 10 years of work experience
- B.Sc Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Professional Qualifications like ICAN, ACCA, CIBN
- Experience in Financial Services
- Conversant with Regulatory Standards
