Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as a Graphics and Motion Designer located in Abuja.


• As a Graphics and Motion Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content that aligns with Sudo Africa's brand identity across multiple platforms.


• You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to design and produce motion graphics, animations, social media assets, and other visual and interactive media that help drive brand awareness and engagement.

As a Graphics and Motion Designer at Sudo Africa, your primary duties include:

• Working on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.


• Working independently as well as cooperatively with the growth and brand team and product team to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the brand appropriately.


• Updating and maintaining internal databases for designs, photography, and video.


• Brainstorming new ideas, layouts, and graphics to improve brand communication.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field with 2 - 3 years of experience as a Graphics and Motion Designer or similar role in a technology company with a strong portfolio of work. Experience with fintech is an added advantage.


• Proficiency in relevant design and motion graphics software, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.


• Experience in creating content across multiple platforms such as social media, websites, and print.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.


• Strong communication and time management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design, motion design, or a related field.


• Experience in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design is a plus.
