As a Remote Customer Service Representative (WhatsApp), you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding customer experiences by handling a significant volume of WhatsApp inquiries. This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from Lagos and beyond. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- High-Volume Messaging: Efficiently handle a large volume of customer inquiries and messages on WhatsApp while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Rapid Response: Respond promptly to customer messages to provide assistance, answer questions, and resolve issues.
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Order Management: Assist customers in placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges via WhatsApp.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Escalation: Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and exceptional customer service.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and product knowledge updates.
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback to improve customer service processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High Volume Experience: Proven experience in a customer service role with a focus on handling high volumes of WhatsApp or chat-based interactions.
- Effective Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple WhatsApp conversations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- WhatsApp Proficiency: Familiarity with WhatsApp messaging and mobile app usage.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Empathy: Ability to handle customer inquiries with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
