Manage mechanical workshop and maintenance of all plantation vehicles such as farm tractors & trailers, excavators, grader, compactor, trucks and gen sets.
Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams and ensure optimal equipment availability.
Manage workshop's performance in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage computerised record for stock holding of spares and materials and minimise downtime.
Ensure continuous improvements by implanting workshop and maintenance best practices.
Monitor and manage team and individual performance daily against minimum standards and targets.
leads process improvement initiatives and reviews maintenance, operations and safety audit findings to make informed decisions for improvements.
Supervising the maintenance of equipments.
Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdown.
Develop and prepare weekly and monthly reports as workshop activities and performances.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the management in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Requirements:
B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering
5years' experience in Mechanical Maintenance (Plantation Machineries).
Excellent leadership and managerial skills, analytical and resourceful in managing diverse workshop operations and fleet maintenance.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, Knowledge of Micro soft Offices e.g. MS Word, MS Excel.
