Job Description
We are currently seeking two skilled Accountants to join our team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and supporting the financial well-being of our organization. Possession of an ICAN qualification is an additional advantage for this role.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules for review by senior management.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Conduct regular financial audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and insights.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Educational qualification of OND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Possession of the ICAN qualification is an additional advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
