Job Description:

• We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager who has working experience in quick service restaurant (QSR) to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.


• The candidate must have a solid understanding of plumbing, civil and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. The candidate must be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.


• The goal is to ensure the company facilities and equipments are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Driving maintenance department functionality with high integrity.


• Fully responsible for all the civil,  electrical,  plumbing,  refrigeration, air conditions and generator functionality.


• Implement and enforce “ preventive maintenance schedule “ to minimise equipment breakdown.


• Complete periodic service for all the machines/equipments of the company.


• Prepare and implement the policies to keep strong control on pilferages and minimizing repair expenses.


• Put the controls in place to minimise the cost of diesel, cooking gas and electricity.


• Keep the record of major repairs and services of all the equipments.


• Groom and develop maintenance team through mentorship and reward as per company policy.


• Validating the vendors quotes and have alternate vendors to ensure we get better deal for repairs.


• Prepare weekly breakdown repair and maintenance report and present to Managing Director.


• Make weekly schedule for maintenance team and ensure they follow it.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role.


• Experience in planning maintenance operations


• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.


• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment


• Ability to keep track of and report on activity


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities


• OND/HND in relevant field of engineering. Technical school certificate or vocational training certificate is the minimum qualification.


• Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.

Technical Skills in QSR:

• The candidate must possess technical skills/knowledge to fix/repair industrial ovens and penny fryers.


• Ability to troubleshoot electrical,  mechanical issues using in-house maintenance team.
