As a microbiologist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and safety of our FMCG products.
You will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and analyzing microbial content and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine and advanced microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Gather samples from various stages of production and storage, adhering to established sampling protocols and ensuring traceability.
Analyze test results and interpret findings, promptly identifying any deviations from established quality standards, and report non-conformities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped microbiology laboratory within the processing plant to ensure accurate results and compliance with food safety norms.
Collaborate with the Quality Control team to develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures, continually seeking opportunities to improve microbiological testing processes.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of test results, standard operating procedures, and laboratory documentation to meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in the FMCG industry, ensuring that the company's products are in full compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
Work with the Research and Development team to evaluate and implement new microbiological testing methods and technologies to improve product quality.
Effectively communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Production, and Research and Development, to drive corrective actions and improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or a related field
2 - 5 years work experience.
Proven experience as a microbiologist in an FMCG or similar industry
Strong understanding of microbiological testing techniques, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency with laboratory equipment and software for data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles is a plus.
