  • We are on the lookout for a skilled Inspection Supervisor to lead our car inspection team at Cars45.

  • The Inspection Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and thoroughness of our vehicle inspections.

  • This individual will lead our team of inspectors, develop and refine our inspection procedures, maintain detailed documentation, and work collaboratively with other departments to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety in our car inspections.


Essential Job Functions

The following are some of the exciting projects you will be working on and responsible for:



  • Develop and update comprehensive inspection procedures and checklists to maintain standardized, efficient, and high-quality inspection processes.

  • Stay informed about the latest car inspection methods, tools, and technologies to ensure inspections are aligned with industry best practices.

  • Ensure all vehicle inspections meet or exceed established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify and address any non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards during inspections.

  • Set clear expectations, provide ongoing guidance, and conduct performance evaluations for the inspection team.

  • Generate comprehensive inspection reports, summaries, and analyses for management and relevant departments.

  • Utilize inspection data to analyze trends, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend enhancements.

  • Provide continuous training and development opportunities to inspection team members to help them enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Identify and resolve issues, challenges, and discrepancies related to inspections and quality control.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns, develop solutions, and implement effective process improvements.


Requirements


We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:



  • HND or B.Sc in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering (OND Holder, Graduates of other disciplines, or Mechanics can be considered if candidate possesses experience and/or skill in mechanical / automotive industry)

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in vehicle diagnosis, quality control, car inspection, or a related automotive field.

  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission (gear) on cars.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality control standards, car inspection methodologies & best industry practices.

  • Familiarity with relevant automotive regulations and quality management systems.

  • Proficiency in using car inspection equipment and software.
