Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Retail Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Cars45.


• The Retail Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Retail Operations department.


• This individual will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets.


• The Retail Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Job Functions

The following are some of the exciting projects you will be working on and responsible for:

• Supervise and lead a team of Sales & Inspection Officers, ensuring they are motivated, informed, and equipped to deliver excellent customer service.


• Provide coaching and feedback to the sales team to help them improve their sales skills and product knowledge.


• Schedule and assign daily tasks and responsibilities to sales associates.


• Ensure that customers receive top-notch service and support throughout their car buying/selling experience.


• Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.


• Resolve any customer issues or disputes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.


• Set sales targets and goals for the team and develop strategies to achieve them.


• Monitor and track individual and team performance against sales targets.


• Assist in closing deals and handling high-value transactions when necessary.


• Keep the team updated on the latest car models, features, and industry trends.


• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.


• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback.


• Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer information, and inventory.


• Provide reports to management for strategic decision-making.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.


• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.


• Identify and resolve issues and challenges within the retail department.


• Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and concerns effectively.

Requirements

We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.


• Previous retail supervisory or management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.


• Strong leadership and team-building skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proven sales experience, demonstrating the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.


• Knowledge of car makes and models, features, current technologies and trends in the online marketplace for the used cars industry.


• Proficient in using sales and inventory management software.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
