Job Description



  • Kitchen Manager responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards.

  • Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.


Duties



  • Supervising the food prep and cooking

  • Maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory

  • Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standard

  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products,recipesand preparation techniques

  • Examines product quality and filters defects or deviations from industry specifications.

  • Follow- up and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.

  • Proper inventory and spot checks to ensure no pilferage

  • Monitor usage of items to avoid mis use and ensure all bad and damaged items are properly recorded.

  • Inform restaurant staff of available items and available chef special menu.

  • Ensure all kitchen staff keep work area in hygienic conditions according to the laid down rules and standard,

  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.

  • Ensure prepared daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main pantry or satellites.

  • Ensure cooked food are according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

  • Ensure fresh ingredients are used for cooking according to recipes/menu.

  • Responsible to maintain food logs.

  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.

  • Any other task assigned.
