Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee various accounting operations
- Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting
- Produce financial statements as requested
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and adhere to policies and procedures
- Developing plans for financial growth
- Evaluating and managing risk
- Coordinating audit processes
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
- To also undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Chief Accountant responsibilities will also include financial risk management.
Requirements / Competencies
- Advanced Degree in Accounting
- ICAN, ACA / ACCA preferred
- Proven working experience as Senior Accountant
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
