Job Description

The role will support the effective management of all legal matters as they relate to all facets of the legal function including – Compliance, Corporate Commercial transactions, Contracts review, Data Privacy, Ethical Business Program, Intellectual Property, Legal Advisory, and any other functional projects or assignments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as DPO managing Data Privacy


• Champion compliance with the Ethical Business Program


• Legal advisory to businesses & functions


• Contract negotiation, drafting and review.


• Investor compliance standards management


• Intellectual Property Management


• Ensure the development of service level agreements for service support and delivery.


• Regulatory issues management.


• Legal correspondence drafting


• All such other duties as directed by the Line Manager

Qualifications/Experience:

• A graduate degree in law (minimum of second class lower).


• At least 5 years of previous working experience


• Member of the Nigerian Bar Association.


• Excellent written &verbal communication skills.


• Strong knowledge of corporate commercial practice


• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.


• Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.


• Great team player to support cohesive operations in the Legal


• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.


• Critical thinker and problem solver


• Professionalism and a high ethical standard are expected for this position.
