Regular preparation and presentation of various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and forecasts
Preparation of the Company’s budgets/Management accounts
Conduct risk management
Evaluate and decide on investments
Supervise a team of Accountants and all staff in the department
Allocate resources and manage cash flows
Conduct profit and cost analyses
Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
Ensure all financial/accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations and in line with NHIA Operational Guidlines
Consult board members about funding options
Recommend cost-reducing solutions
Liaising with organization’s bank in respect of payments and receipts to ensure that all bank accounts and statements are regularly reviewed and reconciled
Ensuring that Payment Advices are sent to Health Care Facilities (HCFs) in a seamless and timely manner when Fee for Service (FFS) and Capitations are made to HCFs

Requirements:
Candidates should possess an HND/ B.SC Accounting and Master's Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or related field with ICAN or ACCA certification
10 Years post NYSC work experience with minimum of 5 years proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Chief Finance Officer, Director of Finance or similar role
Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Chief Finance Officer, Director of Finance or similar role
In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
Good knowledge of NHIA Operational Guidelines, FIRS and other related bodies in the business of Health Insurance industry
