Job Description:



  • Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lawyer who will be responsible for a range of legal matters, primarily focused on title registration, regularization, and corporate drafting.

  • You will work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and provide sound legal advice to the organization.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Title Registration: Ensure the proper and timely registration of property titles, leases, and related documentation.

  • Regularization: Oversee the process of regularizing land and property documents as required by applicable laws and regulations.

  • Corporate Drafting: Draft, review, and advise on a variety of corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal instruments.

  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations affecting the companys operations.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.

  • Negotiation: Participate in negotiations and settlements on behalf of the company, where necessary.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized legal documents and records.

  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the legal team and the company.


Requirements


Skills and requirements:

The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily



  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Barrister at Law (B.L) call to the Nigerian Bar with 2-4 years of post-call experience.

  • Proven experience in title registration, regularisation, and corporate drafting.

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws and regulations related to property, real estate, and corporate matters.

  • Excellent research and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
