Job Summary


The Head of Finance & Administration (HFA) is responsible for overseeing the finance, Human Resources and Administrative functions of the organization. The role will be responsible for driving financial planning and management,as well as setting up and maintainingthe company's management information systems. S/He shall drive the HR strategy and coordinate the administrative functions.



  • Participate in the company's decision process as member of the management team by influencing business strategy and operations with relevant financial insights

  • Manage the budgeting & reforecast processes, implement budget control

  • Drive the treasury and working capital management activities within the business

  • Oversee the company's finance ERP and management information system

  • Drive the company's financial and tax planning/ strategies

  • Drive cash planning activities and ensure an optimal cash position

  • Assess financial risks, and maintain strong internal controls and regulatory compliance processes

  • Ensure the integrity of financial management and reporting of the company

  • Support the sales/business development team with financial analysis required for commercial negotiations

  • Coordinate the HR function and provide guidance to HR Staff

  • Oversee the organization's HR initiatives, systems and tactics

  • Develop corporate plans and guide implementation for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, performance management benefits, etc.

  • Develop and oversee the administrative functions of the company including facilities management, security, health and Safety

  • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction by linking strategic objectives with the financial goals of the company

  • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Board from time to time


Qualifications



  • Proven experience in a finance role as a financial controller, head of finance  or senior member of the finance team

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a senior finance role

  • Master's degree in a relevant field desirable

  • Relevant professional finance or accounting qualification (e.g ,ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, etc.)

  • Experience with setting up/ utilizing a leading financial management software and data analytics software

  • Experience leading/ coordinating a HR and/or Admin functions is desirable

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple teams and priorities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, comfortable with numbers

  • Ability to strategize and solve problems

  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills

  • Relevant undergraduate degree and professional certification;
