Job Components

Your role as a Project Engineer will consist of two components, which are expected to take an equal amount of time:

Project Implementation:



  • Perform site audits of potential solar sites

  • Perform detailed design of solar power installations,

  • Prepare project execution documents such as BOM, Schedule, Resource need, etc.

  • Direct, coordinate, and supervise the installations of systems,

  • Regular field site visits or you will be stationed on a project site depending on the size and scope of the project,

  • Provide top service to our clients with consistent and concise communication ensuring long term partnerships by delivering on client expectations,

  • Conduct QA/QC of installations of both Stellaris’s team as well as the installations of our technical partners,

  • Serve as site Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) lead on-site,

  • Create as-built drawings and other relevant projects closeout documents; and

  • Train clients on the operation and optimal utilization of systems.


Continuous Improvement:



  • Work in partnership with the company Leadership to establish goals and objectives regarding the Organization’s opportunities for improvements,

  • Attend Project Closeout meetings to understand challenges and create initiatives to improve how we execute projects.

  • Develop and execute a training program for Stellaris full time and contract installers to ensure we continue to improve the speed and quality of our project implementation.


Qualifications / Requirements



  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree.

  • Prior Solar power experience.

  • Prior HSSE training or certification.

  • Professional license (COREN).

  • PMP Certificate.

  • Ability to travel and be on-site for up to 90 days at a time.

  • Proven record of clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license, international passport, and ability to travel locally and internationally.

  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
