Job Summary

• We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the position of a Medical Officer


• The ideal candidate must have experience as a Medical Officer in the Healthcare industry


• The Medical Officer is essentially responsible for restoring patient’s optimum health. Medical Officer is to perform health assessments, run diagnostic tests, prescribe medication, create treatment plans and provide health and wellness advice to patients.


• S/he must demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, especially in assessing and diagnosing patients, leading to the delivery of safe care for all patients.

Job Description

• Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and injuries.


• Prescribe, administer and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal statutes.


• Ensure that patient care and is optimal and is in adherence to the clinical guidelines and quality standards.


• Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedures.


• Performing inpatient and outpatient review with initial assessment and management.


• Supervise other clinical staff to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.


• Evaluate the effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements


• Minor medical, surgical and procedure.


• Pre-employment medical checks.


• General administration of duties as regards patients’ welfare


• Any other assignment from higher authority

Requirement

• Certificate of Annual Practicing Licence


• Certificate of Full Registration as a Medical Practitioner


• Degree Certificate


• 2 - 5 years work experience.
