Role Description

• This is a volunteer Community Volunteer role that involves working with our team and beneficiaries to support our programs in Lagos.


• This is a hybrid role that requires some in-person work in Lagos and flexibility for some remote work.


• The Community Volunteer will engage in various activities such as mentoring, educational support, community outreach, event planning, and social media management, and will report to the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Passion for community service and making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and youth


• Ability to plan and execute events effectively


• Understanding of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts is a plus


• Experience in mentoring, educational support, or community outreach is a plus


• A degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is an added advantage.
