This is a volunteer Community Volunteer role that involves working with our team and beneficiaries to support our programs in Lagos.
This is a hybrid role that requires some in-person work in Lagos and flexibility for some remote work.
The Community Volunteer will engage in various activities such as mentoring, educational support, community outreach, event planning, and social media management, and will report to the Program Manager.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for community service and making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and youth
Ability to plan and execute events effectively
Understanding of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts is a plus
Experience in mentoring, educational support, or community outreach is a plus
A degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is an added advantage.
