The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Intern is responsible for asissting the HSE Manager in developing, maintaining, and ensuring the implementation of all HSE standards to create a secure and low-risk business environment, along with all associated activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Assist to establish, and foster a safety culture within the company across all operational divisions.
Assist to ensure the implementation, and maintenance of processes required for the Management System.
Incident monitoring, enforcement of safety protocols and standards, conduct regular site visits, and submit comprehensive safety performance reports to relevant authorities.
Assist to promote awareness of stakeholder requirements throughout the organization.
Assist to conduct internal system audits at regular intervals.
Assist to prepare the company for Surveillance and Revalidation Audits.
Assist to draft and implement policies and procedures to enhance the system.
Assist to promote the company's HSE policy by raising staff awareness and fostering a learning environment that encourages employee involvement and participation.
Ensure that HSE management objectives are established and met.
Advocate for the HSE policy and program.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Management or a related field.
0-2 years of similar experience in a Manufacturing firm.
Mandatory professional certifications in ISO and HSE.
Proficiency in Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command Systems, and Incident Investigation using HSE Auditing Techniques.
