Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our e-commerce business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient management of financial resources. The E-commerce Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide financial support for business decisions, maintain financial records to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and manage stocks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions for the e-commerce business, including payments and refunds.
- Manage and track inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, financial statements, and other reports.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and assist in tax planning and filing.
- Forecast cash flow and manage the company's finances to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Develop and manage a budget and provide regular reports on financial performance against budget.
- Identify and mitigate fraudulent activities.
- Assist in audits and regulatory compliance.
- Provide financial support for business decisions and advise management on financial matters.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in e-commerce accounting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on e-commerce.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
