Description 

• The hired person will be involved in the purchasing of inputs and sundries, coordinating deliveries of company products to customer locations, overseeing all company vehicles (in terms of fueling, repair, maintenance, renewal of particulars, disposal, etc.), as well as ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of all procurement, fleet, and delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Source, select and coordinate potential vendors/suppliers


• Develop third-party contract terms and ensure compliance to terms of the agreement


• Track orders and ensure timely delivery


• Review quality of purchased products


• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices


• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses


• Coordination of vehicle controls, supervision of drivers, management of deliveries and staff trip requests


• Oversee and supervise the entire loading to ensure accuracy


• Source and coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper deliveries where necessary


• Coordinate and track the movement of goods' condition and meet the required regulatory standards for use


• Familiarity with routes, major markets, and purchasing points in Lagos State

Requirements and Skills

• HND / BSc in Supply Chain, Procurement, or any Social Sciences related discipline.


• 3-5 years experience in the supply chain, procurement, and logistics roles.


• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).


• Coordination, delegation, and people management skills.


• Trustworthiness and strong work ethic.


• Understanding of supply chain procedures.


• Solid analytical skills, negotiation skills, planning skills and ability to conduct cost analyses.


• BSc / HND in Business Administration or relevant field.


• Certificate in supply chain and procurement is an advantage.
