As a Central Store Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our pharmaceutical inventory.


Job Description


What you will be doing:



  • Making Requisition of Pharmaceutical products (Drugs and Vaccines) that has gotten to re-order levels to avoid stock outs.

  • Receiving, Stocking and disbursing of all Pharmaceutical products.

  • Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with recorded inventory.

  • Monitor inventory levels, identify stock shortages, redundancy and consumption trend.

  • Ensures accuracy in ALL documentation.

  • Maintain inventory of ALL Pharmaceutical items by checking to determine inventory level, ensuring First-in-First-Out (FIFO) or First-expire-First-out (FEFO) system is strictly adhered to.

  • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess stock.

  • Good arrangement of items on the shelf based on their categories

  • Ability to make use of Bin/Inventory Cards and proficient software.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding inventory status, stock availability, and any inventory-related concerns.

  • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by his/her Line Manager.


Qualifications


What we are looking for



  • OND, HND, BSC in either Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacology or any other health science degree.

  • 2 years and above relevant work experience preferably in the Health sector inventory management.

  • Student Membership of relevant professional bodies.

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.

  • Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.
