Responsibilities



  • Manage the conceptualization, design, planning, and implementation of programmes in line with the organization’s thematic thrust

  • Coordinate the activities of state offices in programme implementation

  • Oversee, support, and evaluate the work of Programme Officers, Volunteers, and Consultants.

  • Ensure appropriate compliance, reporting, and documentation on programmes and interventions in line with agreed standards and donor requirements

  • Develop, nurture and manage relationships with partners

  • Scan for funding opportunities in areas relevant to the organization’s vision

  • Ensure adherence to the organization’s policies, especially the Gender Policy, and the Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy in all programmatic design and activities.

  • Organisational thematic thrust.


Job holder Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree qualification

  • Extensive experience (minimum of 7 years) and demonstrable knowledge of programme management in areas related to the organization’s thematic thrust.

  • Strong ICT skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and decision-making skills

  • Excellent report-writing skill

  • Strong communicator, coordinator, and networker

  • Strong ability to execute work with an inclusion lens

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
