Principal Accountabilities

• Resolving IT support requests from employees


• Answering employee questions regarding computer systems


• Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems


• Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues


• Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed


• Updating employees on the status of their service requests


• First point of contact and day-to-day technical support to end users;


• Diagnoses problems by evaluating multiple options.


• Configures and installs desktop PCs, peripheral equipment, laptops and other mobile devices.


• Follows established procedures for performing configuration changes, updates and upgrades.


• Performs repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.


• Provides technical support to meetings that include video conferencing.


• Monitors and communicates system status.

Skills / Qualifications

• BSc or HND in an IT related course


• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified


• Experience with any of the following: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Lync Server, Active Directory,


• Business information technology


• Business systems engineering


• Computer networking and hardware


• Computer science


• Computer software development


• Information technology


• Internet engineering


• Software engineering.
