Objective: 

Specialized in catering to the speech and language needs of toddlers, with a concentrated focus on two-four-year-olds, the Paediatric Speech-Language Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency  disorders, fostering enhanced communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Developmental Planning:

• Conduct specific evaluations tailored to two-year-olds to gauge speech, language, and cognitive-communication proficiencies.


• Strategize and formulate developmental plans that are personalized to  meet the unique communicational needs of each toddler.

Therapeutic Intervention:

• Apply evidence-supported therapeutic techniques to bolster speech and  language development, ensuring that methods are adaptable and  congruent with the toddler's evolving needs.


• Utilize a diversified array of therapeutic tools, encompassing assistive technologies, aiming for enriched language acquisition and speech clarity.

Collaboration and Guidance:

• Foster robust collaboration with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring an integrated approach  to language and speech development.


• Provide essential guidance to families and related professionals, imparting strategies and insights conducive to fostering speech and language  growth in two-year-olds.

Documentation and Communication:

• Uphold meticulous records encompassing assessments, progressive insights, and therapeutic strategies, ensuring comprehensive  confidentiality and adherence to professional standards.


• Facilitate continual communication with families and the broader healthcare team, imparting essential updates and recommendations.

Professional Enhancement:

• Remain attuned to contemporary research, methodologies, and  advancements in pediatric speech-language therapy, with an emphasis on strategies pertinent to two-year-olds.


• Engage in continual professional development, ensuring the sustained  relevance and efficacy of therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications:

• Degrees and Certifications in relevant disciplines

Experience:

• Prior experience with a focal emphasis on paediatric speech-language therapy, particularly with two-four-year-olds. Demonstrated efficacy in strategizing and implementing diverse therapeutic interventions conducive to toddler 


• development.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient interpersonal aptitude, facilitating enriched interactions with toddlers, families, and collaborative teams.


• Advanced problem-solving proficiencies, essential for adaptive and impactful therapeutic strategization.
