SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Officer with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify sales leads among new and existing customers, and maintain client relationships.
- Engage in the buying and selling of foreign exchange from end-users, or any other source.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Develop new business by scouting leads via the internet, phone, mailings, and tradeshows.
- Managing customers, confirming sales appointments and performing long-term follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance in the dealings of the purchase and sale of foreign exchange
- Ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Keeping abreast of the foreign exchange market trends.
REQUIREMENTS
- First degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Market knowledge.
- Trustworthy.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
