Position Overview

• We are looking for an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations.


• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the efficient and organized handling of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.


• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels.


• Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to protect warehouse staff and products.


• Supervise and train warehouse personnel, ensuring a productive and motivated team.


• Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as necessary.


• Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.


• Generate and analyze reports related to warehouse performance and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is a plus (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related).


• Proven experience of at least 4 years in a supervisory/Managerialrole in warehouse operations within the FMCG industry.


• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.


• Knowledge of inventory management and control.


• Proficiency in using warehouse management software.


• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.


• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.


• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
