Position Overview:



  • The Deputy Project Manager will work in close collaboration with the Project Manager to drive the successful execution of this comprehensive program.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and available resources.

  • Collaborate with partners, team members, and beneficiaries to ensure effective communication and coordination, addressing project needs and challenges as they arise.

  • Contribute to budget planning and monitoring, helping to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effective measures are in place.

  • Monitor project activities and outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with project guidelines.

  • Support the identification and mitigation of project risks, helping to develop strategies to address potential obstacles.

  • Assist in the preparation of regular progress reports, tracking project achievements and challenges, and presenting findings to stakeholders and the Project Manager.

  • Support the project manager in providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to the project team, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

  • Assist in establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for team members, ensuring effective task delegation and coordination.

  • Contribute to team meetings, providing input and insights to drive effective decision-making and problem-solving.

  • Support the professional development of team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback as appropriate.

  • Work towards the inclusion of gender and disability considerations within project activities, ensuring that targets for females and PWD are met.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration, or a related discipline).

  • Previous experience in project management, particularly in youth development or educational initiatives.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Financial acumen for budget management and resource allocation.

  • Knowledge of gender and disability inclusion practices is an advantage.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with the animation and post-production industry is a plus.
